Are you a DJ-producer or label releasing African Electronic Dance Music? We want to hear from you.

umoja.fm is the home of Amapiano, Afro House, Gqom and Afro Tech — a digital radio platform built to connect the sounds of Sub-Saharan Africa with audiences across the continent and beyond. We are actively looking for new music to add to our rotation and we listen to every submission personally.

Who should submit?

If you are producing or releasing Amapiano, Afro House, Gqom, Afro Tech or any other genre rooted in African electronic dance music — this is for you. Whether you are an established name or just releasing your first track, we are interested.

What we are looking for

We programme music that represents the depth and diversity of the African electronic scene. Quality matters: we accept MP3 at 320 kbps minimum or WAV. Tracks should be properly released or ready for release, with an ISRC code — your distributor/music label can provide this.

What happens after you submit?

We review every submission and aim to get back to you within 30 days. If your track is selected for rotation, we will be in touch directly. Either way, your music and your contact details enter our database — which means you stay on our radar for future features, playlist spots and collaboration opportunities.
